Are Online Sportsbooks Legal Then

Bob Worth, Sports Betting Professor – You’ve probably seen him, he’s the guy with the curiously named “.com” sportsbook, and you may no doubt have raised a eyebrow when you saw his name attached to the site. However, Bob Worth’s site was nothing more than a shady online sportsbook until the US Government had placed a ban on advertising of online sports books to Americans.

Bob Worth, through his company “The Champ Handicapping Report”, had been advertising online since late 1998, and you could certainly find some selections from “The Champ” from that time. But, those selections were for a very small fee, and were “ultra-secret” bets. They were bets that involve only a 2 out of 3 chance of a victory, and they paid out at 9 to 1.

In April of 2001, the United States searched Winslots.com and found the above mentioned bet. They also found out about Bob Worth’s other questionable online bet, “The Gambler’s Fallacy,” and began making calls for his activities. This lead to Worth joining the High Commission of the State of Washington as an advisor. The State of Washington ended up placing a ban on betting on sports after thedyne-ership couldn’t justify a ban. Bob Worth got in touch with some of his friends to explain that the admirability of his system was due to the vigorish he paid out rather than the form of bets he was making, and certainly nothing illegal. Well, they never figured it out.

In 2005, Worth was arrested for three counts of internet gambling and received a two year sentence. He was also banned from the Hk Prize casino.

So, there it is. The story of Bob Worth is so shocking, the fact that he would do something that would lead to such a drastic action speaks volumes on the character of this man. I truly believe that he was in the right place at the right time, and yes, that he either won or lost on the game of his choosing, has no idea what really happened. I don’t think he really understood the danger he was in.

Dr. Max RECounts

Max Recounts: When I first started out as a sports bettor, I was a total skeptic as to whether or not a simple betting system could actually work. I bought the classic Betting Systems by John Morrison for a card analysis class. I perused the website, and discovered that instead of answering the questions on my mind, itorted site to look at the performance of the a systems for three years! I then assumed that if it worked so well that a simple course could be learned in a few weeks, assuming the course was quality and not a waste of money. I started praying for the best in that regard.

I expected to fail. I really did not want the class to be an educational experience, but I recognized that the man was not scamming people. He was telling the truth. I trusted him that I would be interested in his system so long as he disclosed all of the results obtained. This he did. On the website he offered a joint membership application to Betaus, Silver Plan, VegasGuard and Gamble renowned for their Tour players Advantage and regular members. I accepted the applications, purchased the systems and began to operate the Betfair on a par with my new best friend.

This system is unique because it removes the emotional factor from your betting, thus making it easier to operate because of the non-emotional nature of the sport. I began to realise that certain events are always more appealing than others and as such I began to zero down certain games (before the sensationally expanding Betfair arcade, I probably would have been a Betting Systems dummy! Some years back, I would have been an ordinary Compulsive Gambler, but thanks to Morrison’s systems, I soon became an advanced Betfair user and won many a game of possum before I hit the jackpot.

However, by this time, my interest had progressed to observing, and learning from, the Betfair arcade. I took the time to observe and analyze the noise levels of the machines, the light effects, and the coin movements. This is the stuff that makes Craps what it is, a game of noise and color. At that time (age 25), I became a complete novice, but I was determined to learn. Now that it is clear that learning comes at a price, I wondered whether the Betfair arcade would be another profitable form of gambling.

Well, when you learn that you have to pay, you certainly pay! When you enter in the betting zone, Betfair offers you a bonus of 20%, or up to $250 credit. Once, you have made a deposit, you can enter the betting zone and begin to play the aspect of the game.
